Safe Food Handling SITXOHS002A
Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures
This course covers legislation regarding good hygiene practices. Learn the importance of hygiene, why food poisoning and food spoilage occur and effective methods of prevention. On successful completion, students are issued with a nationally accredited Safe Food Handling Certificate, which allows them to work in the food industry. Offered online, this course comprises 4 x 1-hour ‘real-time’ sessions.

Non-Accredited Online Courses
We now offer some 200 online courses you can take in your own time and from the comfort and convenience of your home or office, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Make new friends in our lively and intelligent discussion areas. Ask our patient and helpful instructors as many questions as you want, whenever the mood strikes you. Pick up a new skill or brush up on an old one. Experience learning the way it was meant to be: enjoyable, clear, uncomplicated, fast, and convenient.
These ed2go courses are offered for your personal and professional development for which you will receive a certificate of completion. Please note: They are not vocational qualifications.
How does it work?
Each six-week class is composed of 12 lessons, followed by a final exam, and includes lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, and supplementary links.

ENROL: Choose the department and course title you’re interested in. Select the Enrol Now button. Follow the step by step instructions. Here you will enter your email and choose a password that will give you access to the Classroom.
PAY: Once enrolled, you need to pay Community College for your course.
